Part L: Heavenly Almond Treats

Another part of our coast adventure was visiting the Blue Heron Cheese Company. Not only do they have fantastic cheeses, mustards, salad dressings, jams, bbq sauces and wines, they also have an outdoor petting zoo

We also perused at least one antique store

And now, for the cookies

Verdict: These were also tasty, they had a good almond flavor.

Part XXXXIX: Hershey's Chocolate Chip Blondies

While we were on the coast, we visited a farmer's market. We got the ingredients for that evening's dinner at the farmers market, which included asparagus, onions, and grass fed lamb

Now for the cookie pictures

Verdict: Tasty! I enjoyed making bar cookies instead of regular cookies.

Part XXXXIII:Peanut Butter Oatmeal Treats

First off, I need to apologize for the lateness of these posts. I have been busy, depressed, applying for jobs, procrastinating, not necessarily in that order. Hubby J and I were at the beach this past weekend so I have many photos of where we went and few photos of actual cookies. The cookies were not made with the usual care, as I was more interested in exploring the coast the few days we were there then stuck in the kitchen baking cookies!

Here are some photos of the beach where we stayed, Twin Rocks. I went jogging every morning on the beach, barefoot and on the hard packed sand near the water's edge. It was quite invigorating.

Here are some shots of the curved coastline of the town of Manzanita, taken from the highway. Unfortunately I didn't get the greatest shot despite several attempts

Oh yeah, and here is a picture of the cookies I made

Verdict: These cookies were tasty-usually I think peanut butter dries out cookies, and maybe it was the butter, but these cookies were moist and tasty.
